AI tool + MCP
VibeAdmin for apps built with Cursor
Cursor can do both halves of the job: add the integration to your code, and then act as an operator through MCP. Ask it who signed up this week, or to draft an announcement, without leaving the editor.
How it works with Cursor
Paste the generated install prompt into Cursor to wire up the API, then add the VibeAdmin MCP server to .cursor/mcp.json with a scoped key.
- A read-only key cannot even see the write tools
- Writes need explicit scopes and are audited as the key
- Sending email requires an explicit confirmation
- The same endpoint works for Claude Code and other MCP clients
Set it up
- 1
Install with a prompt
On the Get started page choose your stack and copy the prompt into Cursor. It contains no secrets.
- 2
Create a scoped MCP key
On the AI / MCP page choose a preset: read-only, support or full access.
- 3
Add the server to Cursor
Paste the generated config into .cursor/mcp.json and reload.
Code
