Let Claude Code or Cursor manage your users with MCP

Once your app has users, the questions start: who signed up, who is active, who is on which plan. If you already work in an AI coding tool, the shortest path to an answer is to let it ask your admin directly.

Start read-only

A key only sees the tools its scopes allow. With the read-only preset the model can list and find users and read stats, but suspend_user and send_email do not exist for it. Add write scopes later, for an agent you trust, one at a time.

What to ask

• How many users signed up in the last 7 days?
• Find the user ada@example.com and summarize her activity.
• Draft an email announcing the new export feature to pro users. Do not send it.

Sending requires confirm: true and is limited to a single user from MCP; broadcasts to a whole audience are reviewed and sent from the dashboard. Every write is recorded in the audit log under the key's name.
